Epimedium grandiflorum ‘Red Beauty’
Epimedium 'Red Beauty' has large, pendant reddish magenta flowers, bronze new growth and forms big, vigorous mounds.
Epimedium ‘Red Beauty’ has large, pendant, spidery reddish magenta flowers in March and April. The new growth is bronze maturing to deep green. Compact and bushy, it forms a clump even more vigorously than other hybrids. Epimedium are among the easiest perennials to grow. They thrive in medium to heavy shade, and when established, are highly drought tolerant. They are deer resistant and are seldom bothered by voles or other critters. They can be used as effective groundcovers or shade garden accents.
