Epimedium ‘Dream Catcher’

Epimedium 'Dream Catcher'' is a barrenwort with small red and yellow flowers and bright green, evergreen foliage.

Epimedium ‘Dream Catcher’ is am improved cultivar with larger flowers, longer blooming period and exceptionally long flower stems. Whimsical, rosy red sepals with yellow wingtips will dance in the spring breeze. The ovate, evergreen foliage are bright green with moderate amounts of bronzing in cooler temperatures. Barrenwort thrive in medium to heavy shade and, when established, are highly drought tolerant – one of the few plants that can thrive in dry shade. They can be used as effective ground covers or shade garden accents. They are deer resistant and are seldom bothered by voles and other critters.
