Enkianthus campanulatus 'Showy Lantern' known as Redvein enkianthus has pink, bell-shaped flowers and green foliage that turns red in fall.

Enkianthus campanulatus ‘Showy Lantern’ is a lovely, deciduous shrub native to Japan and a relative to rhododendrons. Commonly known as redvein enkianthus, it has an upright form of 6 to 8 feet tall and 6 feet wide. Pendulous racemes of lovely, bell-shaped flowers appear in late spring in solid dark pink to reddish shades. Its dainty, deep green leaves turn scarlet in autumn.
