Enkianthus campanulatus ‘Lipstick’
Enkianthus 'Lipstick' has pendulous white flowers with a deep pink lipstick kiss at the tips of the hanging bells.
Enkianthus has bright green glossy foliage that turns brilliant coppery to red in the fall. Young stems are bright red in winter. It has pendulous racemes of campanulate flowers in spring that hang from the layered branches like clusters of delicate bells. ‘Lipstick’ is a special cultivar with white flowers sporting a deep pink edge as if they are all dolled up and ready to give you a big kiss.
