Echium russicum (syn. amoenum)
Echium russicum offers red, feathery exclamation marks that will draw hummingbirds from miles around.

Echium russicum (syn. amoenum), often called red feathers, forms low-growing mounds of narrow, dark green, fuzzy foliage from which arise feathery flowering spikes covered in a multitude of russet-red florets. This long-blooming species will repeat bloom late in summer and fall if deadheaded. Drought tolerant. Very popular with hummingbirds. Photo: Plant Select.
