Echinacea ‘Sunbird’

Reflexed warm yellow petals and lots of flower power.

‘Sunbird’, like the other member of the Bird Series ‘Firebird, has a wonderful habit, compact size and charming shuttlecock flowers with reflexed petals that are gold instead of red. The flowers have an unusually long life span and hold their colour well into fall with lots of repeat bloom. Echinacea in coastal BC should be planted in hot, dry, sunny spots with thin, average to poor soils for best overwintering.
