Lovely double red anemone-type flowers shoot upward from an upright, well-branched plant. Blooming heavily from summer until frost this compact plant is equally at home in containers or in the border and look great combined with grasses and other summer bloomers. Echinacea in coastal BC should be planted in hot, dry, sunny spots with thin, average to poor soils for best overwintering.
