Echinacea ‘Gum Drop’

Darkest pink, double, feathery pom-poms decorate the centre of each flower, surrounded by a broad brim of candy pink petals. A full-sized plant with strong stems for the middle of the border. Mix with pink coreopsis for a one-two pink punch plus blue ornamental grasses and a back drop of white dragon, Persicaria polymorpha. Echinacea in coastal BC should be planted in hot, dry, sunny spots with thin, average to poor soils for best overwintering.
