Echinacea ‘Firebird’

Echinacea 'Firebird' has firey red coneflowers with a classic reflexed habit to the petals like badminton shuttlecocks held around dark cones.

‘Firebird’ has fiery red coneflowers with a classic reflexed habit to the petals like badminton shuttlecocks held around dark cones. It has a good habit, a compact size. Attracts butterflies in summer and seed hunting birds in the fall. Mix with Rudbeckia for a great combo. Echinacea in coastal BC should be planted in hot, dry, sunny spots with thin, average to poor soils for best overwintering. Elsewhere they love to be frozen solid all winter long.
