Dyckia ‘Grape Jelly’

Dyckia 'Grape Jelly' is a bromeliad with dramatic burgundy rosettes of succulent foliage. A fantastic pot specimen and a good winter houseplant.

‘Grape Jelly’ has long, succulent, burgundy leaves that deepen in colour in full sun. Flowers in spring on spikes with orange blooms. Dyckia are the most cold tolerant of the Bromeliad family. They are drought tolerant but thrive on frequent watering during the active growing season. Keep plants on the dry side during cold weather. Grow outdoors under cover in coastal BC or as a pot specimen that becomes a winter houseplant elsewhere.
