Dryopteris wallichiana Jurassic Gold is a stunning fern with new foliage emerging gold and orange slowly fading to golden yellow and then green. New foliage emerges in a large flush in spring then intermittently through the season. Sure to light up any shady area. Evergreen in coastal BC though fronds will collapse to the ground in late winter. Semi-evergreen to deciduous in colder climates. Cultivar name: ‘Hollasic’.
