Dodecatheon meadia ‘Album’ is a rare white form with loose umbels of pure white flowers with dramatically reflexed petals like a badminton birdie on stiff stems above small clump-forming rosettes of long oval leaves. This is the best-known species for gardens. Best in rich soil and part shade. From eastern North America. Grows from a small bulb and is summer dormant.
