The fruit is usually eaten when firm like an apple but can also be eaten when soft and tender like a ripe tomato or dried. It is very similar to ‘Early Fuyu’ but ripens a little later. Persimmons are one of the most popular fruits in Asia and treasured for fresh eating or desserts. Self-fertile.
