Digiplexis Illumination ‘Apricot’
Digiplexis Illumination 'Apricot' has gorgeous tubular flowers of light apricot-orange and warm yellow.

Digiplexis Illumination ‘Apricot’ vies with ‘Flame’ for top spot in this new group of hybrid foxgloves. ‘Apricot’ produces spire after spire all summer long of gorgeous tubular flowers that are light apricot-orange on the outside and warm yellow on the inside. The flowers are densely packed on tall black stems with attractive foliage. Side branching and its sterile nature give an extended bloom time. The Illumination Series offers intergeneric hybrids between foxglove (Digitalis) and its Canary Island relative Isoplexis. They have proven hardy in coastal BC when grown in excellent drainage and protected from winter wet.
