Dierama igneum Stutterheim (Adult 2023)
Dierama igneum has showers of bell-shaped flowers deeply dissected into lobes in shades of magenta-red to tomato-red.

Dierama igneum has wiry grass-like stems to 2-3 feet tall that produce showers of bell-shaped flowers deeply dissected into lobes in shades of magenta-red to tomato-red. The stems move gracefully in the slightest breeze. Beautiful on the edge, corner or possibly at a turning point in a path so you can stop and enjoy! Likes a sunny spot with good drainage and extra summer moisture. Our bulbs are adult blooming size as of 2023 though Dierama can resent disturbance and may take a year or two to re-establish before they resume blooming.
