This dramatic version of the classic cottage garden bleeding heart emerges in spring with bright gold foliage flushed with red on coral red stems soon after dripping with pendulous red heart-shaped flowers on arching stems. Blooms for ages in the spring garden. May go dormant in summer if soils are dry.
