Delphinium New Millennium ‘Pagan Purples’ blooms with dark royal purple, frilly flowers atop large, coarsely textured leaves that are attractive even when plants are not in bloom. Flowers can be single or double. Selected in New Zealand, the New Millennium strains outperform all other tall types with strong stems and good longevity. Removing spent flower spikes will result in another round of blooms on secondary spikes in late summer and fall. Provide rich soils with good moisture.
