Delphinium Highlander ‘Blueberry Pie’ is a magnificent cultivar with ruffled, fully double flowers in shades of deep lilac purple and blue with green centres held on strong, upright stems 3-4 feet tall. Do not allow soil to dry out in the summer. Removing spent flower spikes will result in another round of blooms on secondary spikes in late summer and fall. The Highlander series is bred in Scotland by Tony Coakley who has spent more than 20 years perfecting his incredible compact, self-supporting plants with their amazing flowers.
