Delphinium elatum ‘Red Lark’

Delphinium 'Red Lark' is a compact larkspur with fully double flowers in bold coral-red atop lacy green foliage.

Here’s an amazing new colour for Delphinium offered by ‘Red Lark’! These incredible double flowers emerge salmon pink, deepen to peach, and then orangey coral red. The upright spikes reach a medium height of 28 inches atop compact mounds of lacy green foliage. Provide full sun for best colour. Use in the cottage garden or in a modern setting. Great as a cut flower. Do not allow soil to dry out in the summer. Removing spent flower spikes will result in another round of blooms on secondary spikes in late summer and fall. Pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant. We have had reports that ‘Red Lark’ has been hardy in zone 3 on the prairies.
