The Delosperma Hot Cakes series offers compact plants completely covered with bright, cheerful flowers in late spring reblooming throughout the season. ‘Pumpkin Perfection’ has bright orange and orange-red flowers with icy white centres. Ice plants are long-blooming, carefree, succulent, mat-forming perennials similar to Sedum that thrive in heat, drought and nearly any well-drained soil. Very hardy but protect from winter wet with excellent drainage or overhead cover. Great in containers and on living walls.
