Delosperma ‘Granita Raspberry’ forms stunning succulent mats covered in large, bright, shiny flowers that emerge raspberry red then develop a large magenta-purple to lavender purple centre. Expect flowers in late spring reblooming again throughout the season. Ice plants are long-blooming and carefree succulent mat-forming perennials similar to sedums that thrive in heat, drought and nearly any well-drained soil. Very hardy but should be protected from winter wet either with very well drained soil or in the rain shadow of a house or other structure. Deer resistant.
