Delosperma cooperi ‘Tiffindell Magenta’ produces masses of small magenta-purple flowers all summer long. Ice plants are long-blooming, carefree, succulent mat-forming perennials similar to Sedum that thrive in heat, drought and nearly any lean, well-drained soil. Very cold hardy but should be protected from winter wet either with very well drained soil such as on a slope or in the rain shadow of a house or other structure. Great in containers and living walls.
