Dahlia ‘Strawberry Ice’

'Strawberry Ice' is a huge dinner plate Dahlia with double flowers 8-10 inches wide in pink shades with yellow highlights

‘Strawberry Ice’ is a spectacularly huge dinner plate Dahlia with fully double flowers 8-10 inches wide in pink shades with yellow highlights atop 48-60 inch stems from summer to frost. Fantastic in the garden and ranks very high in its long life as a cut flower. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. They are moderately deer resistant.
