Dahlia Pompon ‘Kasasagi’

'Kasasagi' is a pompon dahlia with two inch wide honeycombed blooms of yellow and red.

Here’s a sweet little Dahlia by the name of ‘Kasasagi’. Its honeycombed, pompon type blooms reach two inches wide and feature rich, golden-yellow petals edged in burnt-red. Stems rise up to 42 inches tall. Blooms profusely from summer into fall. Excellent as cut flowers. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. They are moderately deer resistant.
