Dahlia ‘Destiny’s Teacher’ is a cool and distinctive mignon type cultivar with single flowers comprised of semi-tubular, star-shaped, white petals streaked and splashed with rich purple around the sunny mustard yellow centres. Plants are 24 inches tall. Dahlias are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. Pollinator friendly. Deer resistant.
