Dahlia Dinner Plate ‘Verdi Glory’

Dahlia 'Verdi Glory' has 4-6 inch wide double blooms of purple-red petals with white tips on compact plants.

Dahlia ‘Verdi Glory’ is a versatile dinner plate cultivar that offers lots of flexibility due to its compact size. Fully double, 4-8 inch wide flowers offer eye-popping appeal with its stunning bi-colour blooms of dark purple-red to magenta petals that extend out to ivory-white tips. The compact habit of 26-32 inches makes for flexibility in the border, on the patio, and as cut flowers. Blooms from summer to frost. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. They are moderately deer resistant.
