'Otto's Thrill' is a large, fully double, dinner plate Dahlia in various tones of pink.
‘Otto’s Thrill’ is an enchanting dinner plate Dahlia with huge, fully double, pink blossoms up to 8-10 inches wide aging from pale to vibrant pink. Blooms profusely on long, sturdy stems from midsummer to frost on stems up to 40-44 inches tall. Well suited for the back of a sheltered garden bed. Excellent as a cute flower. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. They are moderately deer resistant.
