Dahlia Decorative ‘Happy Butterfly’
'Happy Butterfly' is a tall dahlia that produces double softly coloured tri-colored petals of yellow, apricot and pink.
‘Happy Butterfly’ is a delightful addition to the mid to back of the garden bed with 3-4 foot high stems displaying multi-coloured, double flowers in soft yellow, apricot, and pink. The underside of the petals reveal bold dark pink stripes with creamy white edges. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. They are moderately deer resistant.
