Dahlia Cactus ‘Winsome’
Dahlia 'Winsome' has large 6-8 wide double blooms or yellow, cream, and red.
Dahlia ‘Winsome’ is a stunning cactus-type cultivar with large, 6-8 inch wide, double blooms of yellow elongated petals with creamy white tips all streaked and splashed in dark red on top of tall sturdy stems. A continuous and prolific bloomer from July to Frost. Fantastic in the border and as a cut flower. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. Pollinator attractor. Moderately deer resistant.
