‘Star’s Favorite’ is a multi-award winning cactus Dahlia with fully double flowers with a spectacular display of elongated soft pink outer petals that twist and turn as they meld into a lovely ivory centre. Flowers are 6-8 inches wide on 18-24 inch tall stems. Fantastic in the border and as a cut flower. A prolific bloomer from summer to frost. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. Pollinator attractor. Moderately deer resistant.
