Dahlia Cactus ‘Romantique’

Dahlia 'Romantique' is a large, eye-catching cactus type with pastel and glowing pink blooms and creamy yellow centres.

Dahlia ‘Romantique’ is a cactus type with glowing white and pale yellow centres that become progressively pink as the petals age first to light pink and then to glowing mid pink. The fully double flowers are 3-4 inches across and supported on tall 3-4 foot stems. A prolific bloomer from summer to frost. Fantastic in the border and as a cut flower. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. Pollinator attractor. Moderately deer resistant.
