Dahlia Cactus ‘Alain Mimoun’

Dahlia 'Alain Mimoun' is a dramatic cactus-flowered dahlia with pink and red flowers up to 6 - 8 inches wide.

Dahlia ‘Alain Mimoun’ will set the bar for drama in any garden. Its two-toned, 6-8 inch wide, cactus type blooms display stunning variegated pink petals splashed and stroked with dark red while sitting high on 36-48 inch stems. A prolific bloomer from summer to frost. Fantastic in the border and as a cut flower. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. Pollinator attractor. Moderately deer resistant.
