Dahlia Burgundy Leaf Happy Single ‘Princess’

From the Happy Single series, Dahlia ''Princess' has white flowers with pale pink to lavender tones over burgundy foliage.

Inspired by the doomed lovers Romeo and Juliet, this series is ironically and strangely called the Happy Single Series. At least our love affair with burgundy-leaved dahlias will continue. Collect the whole series for a Shakespearean extravaganza! A new cultivar of the Happy Single Series ‘Princess’ features single, white flowers with pale pink to lavender tones against contrasting, dark foliage. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. They are moderately deer resistant.
