Excellent in containers or in the garden. Three options for winter starting with the easiest and safest: 1. grow in a pot and move to a frost-free area, 2. lift tubers and store, 3. leave in the ground in well-drained, sunny beds under a mound of fallen leaves (coastal BC only).
