Dahlia ‘Zahra’ is a powder-puff or anemone style dahlia with a multi-layer of white outer petals surrounding large, fluffy white centres. Flowers are 3-4 inches wide and displayed on stems up to 48 inch high. Blooms summer to frost. Awesome in the border and as cut flowers. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location.
