Dahlia Anemone ‘Blue Bayou’
Dahlia Anemone 'Blue Bayou' has lavender-blue outer petals and a central cushion of darker burgundy petals on tall dark stems.

Dahlia Anemone ‘Blue Bayou’ is known as a powder puff dahlia, somewhat resembling that of a double flower Echinacea. This little cutie has an outer row of lavender-blue petals surrounding a darker, burgundy cushion of shorter petals. Flowers are about 4 inches wide and sit on tall stems 36 – 40 inches tall dark stems. Blooms mid summer to frost. ‘Blue Bayou’ will standout in the border, awesome in containers and as cut flowers. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. Pollinator friendly.
