Cypripedium ‘Pluto’
Cypripedium 'Pluto' has very large creamy white and subtly striped pouches with boldly striped petals.

Cypripedium ‘Pluto’ has very large blooms that are a real eye-catcher best suited at the front of an orchid bed. The large pouch is creamy white and subtly striped hinting at the bold stripes on the inside. The tepals are creamy yellow and striped with burgundy. The blooms of ‘Pluto’ are even larger than those of ‘Tilman’, though the colour is less intense. Blooms in May. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady’s slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year! Blooming size.
