Cypripedium ‘Philipp’
Cypripedium 'Philipp' has big, beautiful blush pink and deep pink flowers.
‘Philipp’ has a very big flower and grows quite high to 50 cm (20 inches). It is an impressive sight in any garden. This cross between the Asian C. macranthos and the large-growing American C. kentuckiense flowers in May/June with an impressively long bloom time of up to four weeks. Plant with the early-flowering ‘Ulla Silkens’ to extend the lady’s slipper season from May to June. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady’s slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year! Blooming size with multiple eyes.
