Cypripedium 'Monto' is a robust and sturdy hybrid lady's slipper orchid with huge flowers, a round pouch, and boldly veined tepals.
‘Monto’ produces exceptionally large flowers bigger than a chicken’s egg with round, white, lightly veined slippers with magenta-red veined sepals. It is incredibly stable and robust in its growth. Grows 35-45 cm (15-18 in) high with broad leaves and strong stems. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady’s slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year! Blooming size.
