Cypripedium ‘Blondi’ (Frosch)

Cypripedium 'Blondi' is a beautiful lady's slipper with a creamy yellow pouch and lightly twisted creamy yellow petals with bold burgundy red stripes.

‘Blondi’ is a beautiful lady’s slipper with a creamy yellow pouch and lightly twisted creamy yellow petals with bold burgundy red stripes. It flowers mid spring. The number of shoots gradually increases over the years. This hybrid is a cross between Cypripedium parviflorum var. pubescens and C. macranthos var. rebunense. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady’s slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year! Blooming size with multiple eyes. More info on our Frosch Cypripedium: www.cypripedium.de.
