Cypripedium 'Aki' has large flowers with gorgeous stripes and spots in shades of pink, deep fuchsia, cream, and pale yellow.

Cypripedium ‘Aki’ has a particularly large flower with gorgeous stripes and spots in shades of pink and deep fuchsia underlain by cream and pale yellow. This striking flower blooms in May. Clumps of ‘Aki’ increase gradually in the number of plants but take a little more time than other hybrids. A cross between the North American C. parviflorum var. pubescens and the Asian C. macranthos. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady’s slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year! Blooming size.
