The flowers are also beautiful in shades of pink darkening towards the petal bases and streaks of magenta. Native to southern Greek, southern Turkey and their nearby islands. Blooms in fall. It is similar to C. hederifolium but has serrated rather than lobed and serrated leaf margins. Cyclamen are summer dormant. Flowers emerge first followed by wintergreen foliage.
