Cucumis sativus Mighty Veggie ‘Coolcumber’
Mighty Veggie grafted cucumbers produce 2-3 times (or more!) fruit than ungrafted plants and are more cold tolerant and disease resistant.
‘Coolcumber’ is a high yielding cucumber cultivar that produces crisp, sweet, medium-green, spineless mini cucumbers that are 3 to 4 inches long. Plants are vigorous, heat tolerant and disease resistant. 70-80 days. Mighty Veggies grafted vegetables are hand grafted onto super strong rootstock which provides greater disease resistance, greater cold tolerance (so veggies start growing faster in the spring), and great yield. Mighty Veggie grafted plants usually produce 2-3 times more fruit than ungrafted plants, a difference that is especially large for heirloom varieties which do not always offer high yields.
