Crocus-Spring sieberi ssp. sublimis ‘Tricolor’
Crocus sieberi ssp. sublimis 'Tricolor' is a spring crocus with vivid purple, yellow and white flowers.
Crocus sieberi ssp. sublimis ‘Tricolor’ has vivid, subtropical looking flowers in purple, with a white band and yellow throat visible on both sides of the petals. It is fragrant. Species, or snow crocus, are some of the first bulbs to emerge in the late winter, two weeks before other forms. They will grow anywhere grass does, but don’t mow them until the foliage dies back.
