Crocus fleischeri is a rare and distinctive species from southwestern Turkey and the adjacent Greek Islands. It has narrow, pure white petals that open flat like a white star in the early spring garden. The central branched pistils are bright red-orange and the stamens bright orange with a flare of yellow beneath. Taken together this is a beautiful and unique Crocus.
