It has broad, rich green, leathery, structural foliage which is quite attractive on its own. Keep on the dry side when dormant in winter. Our nursery-grown bulbs are 3 years old as of 2023 and will reach adult blooming size at about 5-8 years old. Photos: Wikimedia.
