Corydalis lutea has clusters of bright yellow, spurred flowers that bloom above blue-green foliage for months on end, literally spring until fall. Plants can self-seed lightly in the garden but do not become invasive. Looks great colonizing stone walls or steps or popping up in the shade garden amongst other perennials. Can be evergreen in mild climates. Tolerant of full shade. Where happy it can form an attractive ground cover or fill in the spaces between other perennials to create a closed cover. Attracts butterflies. Deer resistant.
