Cornus Venus
Cornus 'Venus' is a smaller dogwood tree that produces an abundance of large, creamy white flowers in spring.

The neighbours will be stopping in their tracks with this newer take on the beautiful flowering dogwood. Cornus ‘Venus’ is a cross between C. kousa and C. nuttallii that offers spectacular spring display of huge, creamy-white flowers (bracts) that can reach up to 6 inches across! Spectacular against its lush, green foliage. Autumn produces small edible red fruits similar to that of strawberries and colourful foliage in reds, oranges and purples. Requires rich, well-drained soil. Water regularly until established then as required. Use as a specimen tree in the lawn or back of the bed for full viewing enjoyment. Easy care. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant. Cultivar name: ‘KN 30-8’. For the 2025 Rare Flowering Tree Pre-Order plants will be in 1g pots and about 1-2 feet tall.
