Cornus kousa ‘Satomi’ is among the best of the pink-flowered dogwoods with attractive horizontal tiers of branches and splendid pink to deep pink bracts followed in fall by red, strawberry-like, edible fruit. The autumn leaves have scarlet red tints. Trees will typically grow to 12-15 feet tall, sometimes taller. Possibly hardy into zone 4b.
