Cornus florida Cherokee Brave has incredible glowing deepest pink to red blossoms in late May and early June developing a white glow at the centres with age as the red lightens to deep pink. Considered one of the top 10 of all flowering dogwoods. Red fruits attract birds in late summer and fall. New foliage is flushed burgundy turning green in summer and to scarlet, red, and almost pink in fall. Grows 10-15 feet tall and wide. Cultivar name: ‘Comco #1’. For the 2024 Rare Flowering Tree Pre-Order plants will be in 1g pots and about 2 feet tall.
